Do You Know About ClickTale?

ClickTale has developed a new website visitor tracking technology that they call In-Page web analytics. They call it “In Page” since it reveals the mystery of what website visitors actually do inside the web page… filling the gap left by traditional web analytics services that only show what’s happening between pages.

This means that they record every visitor interaction within your web site – every mouse movement, every click, every keystroke, and every scroll.

And they play all that information back to you in the form of a movie, so you get to see your visitors’ browsing behavior as if you were looking over their shoulder. You can now understand not only the “what,” but also the “why” behind your visitors’ actions – and this can have a direct impact on your bottom line.

With ClickTale you can:

  • Understand and minimize shopping cart abandonment
  • Maximize online form completion
  • Optimize landing page design
  • And run inexpensive usability tests

Since ClickTale is a hosted service that monitors your visitors from all over the world, you can also think of them as your “Global Virtual Usability Lab.”

ClickTale also combines hundreds of browsing sessions into aggregate heatmaps that give you a sense of what visitors are doing as a group.

For example, their scrolling heatmaps show you:

  • Where visitors stop to pay attention
  • How much time on average they spend at each point on the page
  • How far down they scroll
  • And how many visitors actually see the bottom of your page

With Link Analytics, you get to see:

  • How people are interacting with the links on the page
  • How many hovers each link gets
  • Hover-to-click conversion rates
  • Hesitation time
  • And the average order that visitors hover

lickTale is a hosted service, so setup takes just a few minutes. Simply insert the ClickTale JavaScript code into the pages you would like to record. The script runs in the background and saves recordings into your own password-protected account.

If you sign up now, they have a special offer of 100 FREE recordings every week. Or, you can sign up to one of our premium plans and can get even more recordings.
