Checklist: Roadmap to Internet Success

Many people these days are looking for ways to "make money on the Internet". Some are people looking to take their bricks-and-mortar business online to expand, or sell things they have manufactured. There are other people who are looking to supplement their income by creating additional revenue from having a website.

If you are looking for another "Get Rich Quick Scheme", this is not for you. We politely ask you now to leave.

It takes real work, just like any other business, but done correctly, there are some tried and true ways to make your website turn a profit. We would like to take you on a journey called our "Roadmap to Internet Success". Once you agree that our principles are sound, you will discover how simple, and non-technical, having a online business can be. From that point on, everything falls into place.

Roadmap to Internet Success

  • PLAN
    Plan for your success. Many businesses fail to understand the difference between a successful offline business and a online business. Most online businesses dive into the process of selling on the Internet backwards. Success begins with a solid Internet Marketing Strategy.
     

  • INFORMATION
    A successful offline business sets up shop where people crowd by. It is all about location, location, location.

    A successful online business owner understands the fundamental difference in how people use the web. No one just passes by your website. They are searching for Information, Information, Information.

    The very first thing you must do is make your site a resource. We will learn more about creating quality, on-demand Information during this tutorial.
     

  • TRAFFIC
    You are adding to your content regularly and keeping it updated and interesting- now you need to turn up the volume on the traffic.

    The definition of website Traffic is the amount of visitors a website receives, but why is website traffic so important? We will soon find out in lesson 3...
     

  • PREsell
    Understanding that your Internet business runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week will help you appreciate the importance of capturing the flow of targeted web site traffic. An increase in your targeted traffic indicates an increased opportunity to earn profits for your business.

    Unless you are Amazon or eBay, you need to understand the power of PREsell.
     

  • MONETIZE
    Once you have a constant flow of presold, willing-to-buy traffic, then and only then, can you begin to monetize.

    Called "Monetizing," it is the ability to earn revenue from your site. Selling products or content on the Internet. During the tutorial, we will see why so many small businesses fail."M" cannot happen if we fail to follow the steps of the formula.
