Hello everybody, Buck here.
I have been working, the past week, updating our outdoors website at http://justnorth.com.
I thought it would be fun to implement Mandeeps Live Tab module throughout the site. And it was fun!
On the JustNorth site, I have several areas that are listed under the Outdoor Tips section where we encourage visitors to add and share their own outdoor tips in the various categories of camping, golf, open water fishing, ice fishing, and hunting.
Previously, we had a tip submission link on each page that directed the visitor to a new page to submit their tips. It was cumbersome for the user to traverse back to the tips page after submission.
It was my goal to condense the page content and directly integrate the Xmod tip submission formview module within the Live Tabs module.
This offered us the benefit of gathering more tips for our site content and allowed the user to feel comfortable submitting their tip directly on the page.
We also added the addition of a Get Started button that links directly to the Add Your Tip tab and Live Tabs also adds a nice visual slide effect to the viewing of the Xmod form.
