In my business directory I have the allowed comments, but whenever a user adds a comment, the only person that can "approve" or "delete" them is the host superuser account. I have another user set as "administrator" in DNN that can add/edit/delete business listings, but that user is unable to approve or delete comments on a listing.

Is it possible to allow a registered user who is the owner of that listing to approve/delete comments?

Thanks so much,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Great to hear from you and thank you for your question.

This also came to my attention and I discussed the comment approval with Kelly Ford, developer of XMod, when XMod version 5.5.1 was created.

Beginning with XMod version 5.5.1 the Administrator account that is assigned in the DNN admin settings can now approve, unapprove, and delete comments.

I also created a free tool for admins to monitor new comments.

Here is the article and source code:

Free XMod Comment Approval Tool

Wishing you success,
Buck
