 Hi buck,

Another small issue that I think is pretty easy to solve, however I haven't been able to.

Every time I make a search in my search bar on the BD I'm absolutely obliged to press on the "search" button next to it; my original reflex is to write and press enter (as you would do on google or something like that), however if I do this, the module is going to react as if I had clicked over the "more info" button on any of the items on my listing, is there anyway to fix this?

I know it has to be something uncomplicated, but I don't know how to fix it...

Thanks a lot once again for your excellent support!!

PS: our site is almost finished, I will post it eventually on the "websites with BD" :D

Fadou,

Technically, this is an issue with ASP.net.

You can only have one enter key on a DotNetNuke page.

Kelly Ford, developer of Xmod and XMod Pro, had written an article on the subject.

Maybe it will help you understand the reasoning behind one enter key.

Hi Buck,

I went to check the link and tried to add the mentioned code, though I'm not pretty sure where, I tried adding it where the code for the search button goes, however it didn't work, where could I add it?

Fadou,

That won't work since the code, in the article, is for Xmod Pro not XMod.

It is the concept, that Buck was explaining, that ASP.Net apps, like DotNetNuke, can only have one module on the page that is triggered by the enter key.

I would suggest that you add your request to Kelly Ford's XMod wish list at http://dnndev.com/Support/Forums/tabid/215/afv/topicsview/aff/13/Default.aspx and maybe it will be available in the next version of XMod.
