 Hi buck,

Lately I run into a problem I've trying to solve.

Recently we decided to change some of our categories and add more (throught the multiple categorie form), I made the necessary adjustments and everything works, however, the tag cloud is still showing me the "old set" of categories, as if the changes had not been applied, what could it be??

Hmmm...

If the form name has not changed in the Fatgeorge TagCloud settings, and you have not changed the Business Directory form field name cboCategory, then it may be just a DotNetNuke cache issue.

Try going to Host Tab >> Advanced Settings >> Performance Settings and click clear cache.

The other reason that may be causing it is that the FatGeorge TagCloud control is looking at the existing listings.

if you change category names, these categories will not transfer to the existing listings.

This is a Xmod security feature to protect the listing information in the Xmod database tables.

If you change your form, you need to edit and update your listings for the listing changes to take effect.

if that does not work, contact Tony at Fatgeorge so he can look at your configuration.

The Tag Cloud picks up values that are assigned to your XMod records not the categories defined in your form.
If you have changed the categories you will need to edit each listing and update the categories.

we don't make XMod, we make it better!
