Is there a way to use a stripped down version of the multiple category form for Standard Listings, and a full blown version for Enhanced listings so people don't spend a lot of time filling in information that will not be displayed on a standard listing?  We can use roles to seperate.

Your thoughts?

Thanks

Jeff

 Jeff,

The initial concept of Business Directory was to show all features of the listing form to the advertiser with the intent to make the advertiser aware of all of the extra features available if they upgraded their listing to enhanced.

One customization of the application could be to wrap specific sections of the listing form in opening and closing panel tags.

Example:
If you had two security roles set up on your DNN portal:

Standard Listing
Premium Listing

You could conceivably configure the listing form to only show the large description section to only users in the Premium Listing security role by wrapping that section in a XMod panel control.

[panel showroles="Administrators,Premium Listing"]

large description section

[/panel]

When customizing any form or template save your existing form or template to NotePad for safekeeping prior to modification.
