I currently installed XMod 5.5:

XMod DLL Version: 5.5.3.29220 (DNN 5.0+ .NET 2) to be exact

And when I got to "Administration" after adding the module to the page, I am missing "Upload Settings" and "Global Settings".

Without access to these settings, I am unable to add the Business Directory module since it requires .css and .js files.

Is there a work around to this?

First, I would install the latest version of Xmod - version 5.5.4. This version should be available at snowcovered.com in the patches and hot fix section of your account.

I am not aware of Upload Settings and Global Settings on the Xmod administration console.

Business Directory and the FatGeorge File Upload control are installed as XMod install packages on the administration console. Are you logged in with a host account?
