Content Management

Content Localization
Each tab can be configured to show for All Locales or a Specific Locale. This allows you to present different content for each Locale (Language).

Theming

Flexible Layout
Default functionality will dynamically size both height and width of the module to fit your page but an admin can always specify a fixed width and/or fixed height.
Tab Header
Tab names are not limited to text labels only. An admin can show any text / html within tab header. It allows you to include Tab Icons and other text / html content.
Effects
Includes Fade and Slide effects out of the box. Effects engine is flexible which allows an admin to create their own effects such as Bounce, Drop, Explode, Pulsate, Shake, etc...
Auto Select Tab
Automatically selects a tab when a user hovers over it without a need for tab click.
Rotate Tabs
Automatically rotates (cycles through) tabs at predefined time intervals. Allows an admin to showcase content without user intervention.

Permanent Tab Links (URLs)

Buck's Summary:

I was first introduced to Mandeep Singh and his module development through his top selling Live Content module.

To be honest, at the time, I considered it to be another module that produced eye candy for our web design clients.

We soon discovered that every time our sales team demonstrated a site we had created using Live Content, our new client wanted the module and features added to their site.

With the release of Live Tabs, my apprehension to look at the product was diminished due to the fact that I know the quality that Mandeep ensures on his modules. I also believed that this module would be well received by our sales and design staff.

Previous to the Live Tab release, we were using the DNN Stuff Aggregator module for our tabbed solutions. I do not intend to diminish the DNN Stuff product due to the fact that it served us well. I also urge you to compare the two products.

But, when I began testing the Live Tab module, I soon discovered a wealth of new features that grabbed my attention.

Are just a few of the features that impress me when using this module.

Last week, we were bidding a site redesign and DotNetNuke conversion job for a large IT company. I was aware that they had a ton of content that needed to be presented in an organized manner.

They were also extremely interested in the new site having a Web 2.0 look and feel.

I decided to send the Live Tab and demo video links to the company project manager for review. He contacted me two days later and we had an online meeting the following Monday to discuss implementation and inclusion of Live Tabs on the new site. Impressive!

I am looking forward to the response from our sales team when they present Live Tabs to our existing web design client base. It is my humble opinion that we will be using it often.
